Iva enjoyed a happy childhood on a farm in St. Augustine, which later became Prince Gallitzin State Park. She moved to Cresson to attend Mount Aloysius College and met her future husband across the street. Iva was by nature a quiet person, listening more that speaking. She also had a dry sense of humor and her observations and comments would have everyone laughing. Family was very important to her and she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her siblings. Special thank you to the staff at Martha’s Manor for their compassionate care for our mother. Friends and family will be received Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 2-6 p.m., Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Ave, Cresson.
