Haubrick, Loretta Kay (Byers), 80, Hill Valley, went to be with the Lord on Saturday October 29, 2022, at home surrounded by her family. Born June 30, 1942, Allenport, daughter of the late, James and Ethel (Naugle) Byers. Survived by her loving husband, Wilbur C. “Dink” Haubrick; children, Roxanne Scott and husband, Anthony, Wyoming; Tammy Starr and husband, John, Mount Union; Jack Fortney Jr. and wife, Shelley, Shirleysburg; and Crystal Fortney, Shirleysburg; 6 grandchildren, Ashely Beck and husband, Dennis; Stephanie Patterson and husband, Patrick; John Starr Jr. and companion, Heather; Eric Starr and wife, Nicole; Joshua Fortney and wife, Lisa and Kayla Gutshall; 8 great grandchildren; and brother, Dale Byers. Preceded in death by 8 siblings. Loretta was a 1961 graduate of Captain Jack High School. She was employed by Empire Kosher—retiring after 30 plus years of service. Loretta liked to garden and maintain her flowers. She also enjoyed attending public sales, auctions and flea markets. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday November 2, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Thursday November 3, 2022, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., Francis Crouse and Susan Mackneer, co-officiants. Interment to follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, McVeytown. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
