Lois Ann Rosensteel

Rosensteel, L Ann, 83, formerly of Mount Union, passed away on March 27, 2020 at AristaCare at Hillsdale Park. Born May 6, 1936, Lewistown, daughter of the late Paul W. and Mabel I. (Harris) Gilbert. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Fredrick I. Rosensteel. Survived by daughters, Julie Rosensteel, Melinda Eaken and husband Calvin; and Donna Flowers; 5 grandchildren, Calvin Eaken III, Melina Eaken, Amanda Eaken, Adam Dixon, and Robert Flowers; brother, Lee Gilbert. Ann was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mount Union. She enjoyed planting flower and vegetable gardens. In her spare time, she liked to read mystery novels and to sew. Ann was most happy when spending time with her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Mount Union, 15 W Shirley Street Mount Union, PA 17066 or the Shirley Home for the Aged, 17050 Country View Ln, Shirleysburg, PA 17260.
