Wasil, Linda Ann, 77, Cresson, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024 at UPMC Altoona. Born November 30, 1946, Cresson, daughter of the late Daniel R. and Leta A. (Short) Kirby Sr. Preceded in death by her two sisters, Jolene Soisson and Joan (Vic) Fulton; and brother, Daniel Kirby Jr. Survived by her loving husband, Ronald Wasil; two daughters, Christine and husband Joseph Falger; and Jennifer and husband Thomas Andersen; four grandchildren, Izzy, Meghan, Lukas, and Addie; two brothers, Paul Kirby and wife Barbara; and Patrick Kirby and wife Gina; and a brother-in-law, Mark Soisson. Linda was a member of Saint Francis Xavier Church, Cresson. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Ave., Cresson. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., Fr. Leo Arnone, celebrant. Visitation will then resume until 6 p.m. Private burial at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Cresson.
