Walker, Kenneth L., 82, Mount Union, passed away November 10, 2020 at William Penn Nursing Home, Lewistown. Born September 4, 1938, Mount Union, son of the late Landis and Mildred (Cook) Walker. Preceded in death by loving wife, Jane E. (Miller) Walker and brothers, William, Robert, Leo, Berlyn, Milton, and Stanley Walker. Survived by children, Daniel K. Walker and wife, Rose, McVeytown; Marcie J. Dysard and husband, Percy, Huntingdon; Siblings, Dolores Flasher, Mount Union; Lawrence Walker, Mount Union; and Joanna Woodward, Carlisle; Grandchildren, Mandy McCracken and husband, Shane, Heston; Emily Dysard, Huntingdon; and Levi Dysard, Huntingdon; Great-grandchildren, Tristin Brenneman and Wyatt Brenneman. Kenneth honorably served his country in the Army. He later dedicated his time as a fire inspector for Owens Corning until his retirement. He joined his community in fellowship at the Pentecostal Freedom Church. Kenneth was a longtime member of the Totem Home Hunting Club in Burnt Cabins and enjoyed camping and hunting. He was known for his skills as a handyman and tinkerer. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and cherished his time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A private visitation will be held for the immediate family on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Heath-Anderson Funeral Home, Mount Union. A graveside service will be open to the public at 1:00 p.m., Mount Union Cemetery, Reverend Stanley Flasher, officiant. The family kindly ask that those in attendance wear masks and maintain appropriate social distance. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
