Kenneth Wayne Sipes Sr.

Sipes, Kenneth Wayne Sr., 80, Newton Hamilton, passed away February 10, 2024, at Penn Highlands, Huntingdon. Born April 18, 1943, Wayne Township, son of the late Frederick Albert and Stella Lucille (Arnold) Sipes. Survived by loving wife of 59 years, Sharon Rose (Croyle) Sipes; sons, Kenneth Wayne Sipes Jr. and wife, Monica, Mount Union; Dusty Sipes, Mount Union; four grandchildren, Andrew Sipes and wife, Samantha; Brianna Sipes; Christian Sipes; and Harper Kensinger Sipes. Preceded in death by sisters, Ramana Price, Dorothy Walters, Roxy Price, and Betty Woods. Kenneth graduated from Captain Jack High School Class of 1961. He joined the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. Kenneth retired from his latest job after 20 years of service as a high voltage lineman for Letterkenny Army Depot. He was known for teaching Sunday School at the Cedar Crest Independent Baptist Church, coaching his sons in baseball, dancing with his wife, Sharon during their early years of marriage, spending time with friends and family, especially his dogs, Bitsy and Charley. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12p.m., at the funeral home, Pastor Greg Harven, officiant. Military honors and interment to follow at Haven Rest Memorial Park, Shirleysburg. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
