Kenneth R. Grove, Jr.

Grove, Jr., Kenneth Robert, 80, Newton Hamilton, passed away February 4, 2020 surrounded by his family at Valley View Retirement Community, Belleville. Born May 19, 1939, Huntingdon, son of the late Kenneth R. and Freeda E. (Kelley) Grove, Sr. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Sarah J. (Minnick). Survived by his children, Gary Grove and wife, Deb, McVeytown; Sally Prendergast and husband, Steve, Belleville; Jeff Grove and wife, Michele, Todd; and Dave Grove and wife, Michele, Germany Valley; 9 grandchildren, Jolene Bowersox, Andrew Grove, Alex Grove, Taylor Grove, Jason Grove, David Grove, Samantha Confer, Ashley Wagner and Ben Grove; and numerous great-grandchildren. Ken had 50 years of service IBEW Local 126. He was a member of the Free & Accepted Masons Lodge #688. Ken enjoyed hunting, camping and going to Sprint car races with his family, but most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 1 p.m., Mount Union Cemetery, Pastor Bill Benson, officiant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
