Booher, Kenneth C., 84, Mount Union, passed away July 13, 2022, at Westminster Woods at Huntingdon. Born November 14, 1937, Mount Union, son of the late Joshua and Freda M. (Lancaster) Booher. Survived by his loving wife, Ellen N. (Neason) Booher; two sons, Jeffrey D. Booher wife Karen of Dubois, PA, and Bradley M. Booher wife Angelina of Bellefonte; four grandchildren, Jason P. Booher, Jessica M. Neff, Jenessa M. Booher, and Kooper D. Booher;  Three great grandchildren, Charlotte, Ari, and Caraline; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by an infant son Jason A. Booher and by four brothers: Charles, Chester, Barry, and Larry Booher.  Ken was a retired correctional officer at SCI Huntingdon. He was a member of the Sons and Daughters of Italy, former member of the Mount Union Fire Company, and served on the Mount Union Borough council. He loved spending time with family, especially his grand children and great grandchildren. Ken was known for his great sense of humor and storytelling. He was a Christian by faith and enjoyed reading the Bible and handing out homemade cross’s to anyone he would meet.  Family and friends will be received on Monday July 18, 2022, from 6p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday July 19, 2022, from 10a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service at the funeral home, Pastor Denice Percival, officiant.  Interment will follow in St. Catherine’s Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
