June M. Stewart

Stewart, June M. (Woodward), 86, formerly of Kistler, went to be with the Lord on Sunday July 27, 2025, at Mt. Nittany Hospital. Born March 3, 1939, Mount Union, daughter of the late Harry and Laura (Price) Woodward. Preceded in death by her husband, Ronald R. Stewart. Also preceded by siblings, Butch Woodward, Patricia Drake, Martha Lauver, and Terry Woodward. Survived by children, Ronald F. Stewart Sr. and wife, Sharon; and JoAnn M. Williams and husband, Curtis; 4 grandchildren, Amy Maxwell, Ronald F. Stewart Jr., Coleman Williams and Chaye Peight; 6 great grandchildren and one on the way; and sisters, Donna Drake and Sharon Vaughn. June attended the Grace Community Church in Mount Union and later the Hesston Community Chapel. She loved volunteering at her church and helping with Vacation Bible School. June liked music, camping, family picnics, and visiting Ocean City Maryland. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family and friends. A celebration of life will be held later at the convenience of the family. Inurnment to be at Mapleton IOOF Cemetery.
