Jules H. Shaffer

Shaffer, Jules H., 78, Mount Union, passed away unexpectedly August 13, 2020 at his home. Born January 5, 1942, Lewistown, son of the late Henry D. and Edith P. (Wilt) Shaffer. Preceded in death by his wife, Esther R. (Pyles); son, David Shaffer; and grandson, Cameron Wissinger. Survived by his daughter, Mary Lu Wissinger and husband Samuel; and grandsons, Brendan Wissinger; Matthew, Ryan and Levi Shaffer. Jules was a self-employed repairman. He was an avid collector of Calliope music. He also enjoyed reading, yard saling, going to flea markets, amusement parks and spending time with family and friends. The family has elected to hold a drive-thru viewing on Wednesday, August 19 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 19 at 12:30 p.m. at Mount Union Cemetery, Joe Barrett officiating.
