Leap, Judith A., 84, Cresson, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones on Monday, October 20, 2025. Born October 29, 1940, daughter of the late Mason and Anna (Ocelnik) McCreary. Also preceded in death by her daughter, Mandy Luke; siblings, Valentine Ocelnik, Laverne Gossard, Madeline Kick; an infant sister, Virginia McCreary; and granddaughter, Katie Wagner. Survived by her loving husband, Orie G. Leap, whom she spent 70 wonderful years with and was married to for 66 years. Also survived by her children, Orie L. (Paula) Leap, Cindy (Mark) Caputo, Daryl J. (Lisa) Leap, Doug Leap, and Megan Leap; a son-in-law, Andy Luke; grandchildren, Jarrett, Orien, Preston, Ryan, Shannon, Gianna, Marie, Brooke, Shelby, Tim, Alexis, and Brent; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; a brother, Mason McCreary; and her beloved dog, Milo. For some time, Judith was a Certified Nurses Assistant, a profession that allowed her to exercise her kindhearted nature through tending to others. Moreover, Judith was a seamstress, a career where she received high remarks for her sewing expertise. Most importantly, Judith’s time was occupied by caring for her husband, children, and father-in-law. In her spare time, Judith would cook – a pursuit which she was most passionate about. Most notably, Judith was a social butterfly, known for her personable demeanor. Judith was recognized for her ability to strike up a conversation with anyone, whether it be by telephone or in person. Additionally, Judith enjoyed journaling, researching, and reading medical information. At the request of the family, all services will be private.
