Dushaw, Jr., Joseph G., 84, Cresson, went home to be with the Lord March 26, 2021 at UPMC Altoona. Born April 1, 1936, Ebensburg, son of the late Joseph and Helen (Sebastian) Dushaw, Sr. Preceded in death by his brother, George Dushaw. Survived by his brother, Edward Dushaw and wife, Elizabeth; niece, Andrea Mansfield and husband, Robert; nephews, Edward Hunt and fiancée, Felicia Dana; Kyle Mansfield and wife, Rachael; and Ryley Mansfield. Joseph served in the U.S. Army and obtained the rank of Specialist 5th Class. He retired from WTAJ Channel 10 News, Altoona. Joseph enjoyed traveling, unique adventures, and riding his bike on the Ghost Town Trial. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. Friends and family will be received Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 9:30-11:30 a.m., Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Ave., Cresson. A funeral Mass will be celebrated following the viewing at 12:00 p.m., St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson, Rev. Leo Arnone celebrant. Committal Holy Name Catholic Cemetery, Ebensburg. Military honors will be provided by the Cresson American Legion, Sankertown VFW, and other local military posts. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Cambria County Conservation & Recreation Authority at www.cambriaconservationrecreation.com in memory of Joseph.
