Yencho, John R. "Rick", 64, Cresson, died Feb. 13, 2017, at Mountain Laurel Nursing Center, Clearfield. Born July 7, 1952, in Spangler, son of the late John A. and Mary (Kutch) Yencho. Preceded in death by sister, Carolyn West, and infant sister, Jocelyn Ann. Survived by sister, Louann Yencho, Clearfield; daughter, Ashley Scott and grandchildren, Gavin and Kaden Scott, all of Miss; and nieces, Kimberly Olson and Jocelyn Davis; and nephew, R.J. Olson. Formerly employed at Summit Country Club, Cresson, and Penn Central Railroad. Friends received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where vigil for deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Cresson, Rev. Leo Arnone.
