Sunderland, Jody I, 66, Mount Union, went to be with the Lord on Sunday August 3, 2025, at Geisinger Lewistown. Born June 21, 1959, Huntingdon, daughter of the late Dale and Lena (Horne) Shields. Survived by her loving husband, Troy A. Sunderland. Also survived by children, Selena Grenoble and husband, Elijah; and Derek Sunderland; and a brother, Dale Shields II. Jody was a 1977 graduate of Southern Huntingdon County High School. She was employed by Elco and later as a homemaker. She attended Living Waters Christian Outreach Church in Three Springs. Jody loved being outdoors hunting and fishing. She also liked traveling, reading, and volunteering with the Teen Ministries International in Mount Union, Bricktown Senior Center in Mount Union and the Three Springs Senior Center. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family and friends. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday August 6, 2025, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Thursday August 7, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon, at the funeral home, Pastor Dustin Boden, officiant.
