Hamman, Jeffrey L., 63, Mount Union, went to be with the Lord on Monday October 16, 2023, at home surrounded by his family. Born October 28, 1959, Huntingdon, son of the late Edsel Sr. and Norma (Shehan) Hamman. Survived by his loving wife, Marilyn R. (Simmons) Hamman; daughters, Tawnya Abrashoff and husband, Randall; and Mashelle Smith; 5 grandchildren, Drew Abrashoff, Kelvin Abrashoff, Abygale Abrashoff, Taylor Hobble and husband, Daniel; and Anthony Brotemarkle; siblings, Edsel Hamman Jr., Jeanie Ausec, Debbie Avramopoulos, and Susie Lynn. Preceded in death by siblings, Jimmy Hamman, Bonnie Moore and Kathy Love. Jeff was a 1978 graduate of Mount Union Area High School. He and his wife were long time members of the Singer’s Gap Methodist Church in Hill Valley where they were involved with the youth program for many years. He was employed as a production supervisor for Donsco before retiring from Ames Tru Temper. Jeff was a member of the F&AM Lodge #688 in Mount Union. He also helped with the Mount Union Area High School band program. Jeff was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and friends. Family and friends will be received on Monday October 23, 2023, from 12 noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, Pastor Richard Morris, officiant. A Masonic Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
