Jean E. McElrath

McElrath, Jean E. 84, Mount Union, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023, at her residence. Born August 31, 1938, to the late Clayton Ellsworth and Jane E. (Shoop) McElrath. She is survived by daughters: Judy A. Winfree, Brenda S. Collins and Kathy L. St. Louis; grandchildren, Michelle Corbin Brown, Hannah Wert and Brandie Coons; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Norris, Alex Zeigler, Weston and Veda Wert; and three brothers, James, William, and Harry McElrath. She was preceded in death by sons, Donald J. Booher and Brian L. Booher; her precious grandson, Jason; granddaughter, Shannon; amd siblings, Richard, Donald, Dale, Carl, Fred, Thomas, and John McElrath; and Nancy Stewart. Jean was a lifetime member of the Mount Union VFW Post 5754, where she spent several years managing the kitchen. She was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her and will leave an everlasting void in the lives of those who cherished her. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
