Jane Elizabeth Zimmerman

Zimmerman, Jane Elizabeth, 73, Cresson, died Nov. 15, 2015, at home of her sister, Catherine Eckenrode. Born Jan. 14, 1942, the first child of the late Fred and Jane (McCaffrey) Zimmerman. Preceded in death by brothers, Fred, Michael and Donald. Survived by siblings: Terry, Warrenton, Va.; Catherine, Cresson; Patricia, Woodbridge, Va.; and Christopher, Cresson; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins. Jane was a lifelong resident of Cresson and 1959 graduate of Cresson Joint High School. Her life revolved around taking care of her nephew, Brian, many of her other family of nieces and nephews, as well as caring for many neighborhood children over the years. Family and friends received from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where service will be held at 4 p.m., Msgr. Bernard Przybocki.
