Granire, James F., 83, Cresson, passed away at UPMC Altoona on Monday, April 1, 2025. Born October 4, 1941, Sankertown, son of the late Paul P. and Jennie T. (Roberts) Granire. Preceded in death by brother-in-laws, Robert Price, Bill Rosa, and Willie Gravitte. Survived by sisters, Philapena Price, Rosalie Rosa, and Rita Gravitte and his nieces Melissa Longo, Jennifer (Dane) Merkel, Suzanne (Ralph) Rosignolo, Roberta (Timothy) Smith and nephew John (Juanita) Rosa . James worked for Cambria County for 33 years. He was a kind man who was dedicated to his family and local community. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and attending Penn Cambria football games. He was also a member in the Knights of Columbus. A graveside committal service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 11: 30 a.m., Saint Francis Xavier Cemetery Mausoleum, Cresson, Fr.
