Jun 3, 1943 — Aug 19, 2026
Three Springs
Jack Robert Heidel, 83, of Three Springs, departed his earthly home on August 19, 2026, at The Graystone Manor, Huntingdon. He was the son of the late Charles and Virginia Mae (Miller) Heidel. In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by brother, Charles (Chip) F. Heidel, and sister, Susan A. (Heidel) Simpson. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ruth M. (Pollock) Heidel; daughter Jackie (Jeffery) Miller; and son, Steven Robert Heidel; grandsons, Chad E. (Darcey) Heidel, Adam C. Heidel, Clinton M. Miller, Dillon R. (Sarah) Miller; great-grandchildren Gradyn Heidel, Evelyn Heidel; brother-in-law Dennis Simpson. Jack was a proud graduate of Captain Jack High School. Upon graduation Jack was employed at the U.S. Silica as a Crusher operator until his retirement. Jack enjoyed fishing, golfing, and hunting, and he would be often found working around the house and spending time with family and friends, whom he adored. At Mr. Heidel’s request, a private Interment will be held at the Three Springs Borough Cemetery. “And just as it is destined that each person dies only once and after that comes judgement, so also Christ died only once as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again but not to deal with our sins again. This time he will bring salvation to all those who are eagerly waiting for Him.” Hebrews 10: 27-28. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E. Shirley St., Mount Union, "Honored Provider of Veterans Funeral Care™."
