Irene L. Link

Link, Irene L., 100, Cresson, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg. Born October 24, 1922, Portage, daughter of the late Earl and Agnes (Mulvihill) Kiel. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clayton J. Link. She is survived by her children, Tharba (Edward) Urben and Eric Link; grandchildren, Heidi Urben and Andrew (Ashley) Urben; great-grandchildren, Eleanor and Abigail Urben; and sister, Lois Davis. Irene attended high school at the then Mount Aloysius Academy and was in one of the first graduating classes at Mount Aloysius Junior College. Devout in her faith, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family, her daily Jumble puzzle, and rooting for Notre Dame. At her request, there will be no viewing. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 11 a.m., St Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson, Rev. Leo Arnone celebrant. Committal St. Francis Xavier Church Cemetery, Cresson. In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made to the Legion of Mary at St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
