Barr, Helen Lee, 73, Niagara Falls, NY, passed away May 30, 2021 at Javon Bea Hospital, Rockford, IL. Born August 10, 1947, Niagara Falls, NY, daughter of the late Leo D. Reed and Florine M. Edmiston. Preceded in death by daughters, Lisa and Lesly Barr; brother, Bill Reed; and step-mother, Marian Williams. Survived by her loving husband, William “Bill” Barr; children, Ulysses Barr and wife, Bobbie; Tracy Lull and husband, Paul; George Barr and wife, Kandy; and William Barr, Jr. and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Brett Lull, Tristen Legaspi, Trinity Barr, Sabbatian Barr, Georgie Barr and William Barr, III; great-grandchildren, Amari, A’mor and Ben; and siblings, Mary Miller, Leo Reed and Barb Lake. Helen worked as a nurses aid. She enjoyed traveling to visit her family and to Florida for the winter. Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday June 8, 2021, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m., Pastor Brian Myfelt, officiant.
