Hazel Loretta Culley

Culley, Hazel Loretta (McConnell), 92, Sankertown, went home to be with the Lord August 18, 2018 at Elmcroft of Altoona. Born September 24, 1925, Ashville, daughter of the late Richard and Philomenia (Rice) McConnell. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years, Robert Culley; son, Leonard “Buzz” Culley; sisters, Vesta McMullen, Sylvia Hartman, Natoma Bulow, Mildred Lewis, Bernice Waksmonski, Betty Mulhern, and Lucille Stevenson; brothers, Royden “Joe” McConnell, Pete McConnell, and Warren “Mack” McConnell. Survived by her daughter, Carol Domino and husband, James, Riverdale, MD; two grandchildren, Kim and Tracy; five great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Braedon, Kyleigh, Hannah, and Trinity. Hazel was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church and the Sankertown VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Friends and family will be received August 22, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Kennedy-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Ave, Cresson. Funeral Mass will be celebrated August 23, 2018 at 11 a.m., St. Francis Xavier Church, Cresson, Fr. Matthew Reese, Celebrant. Burial St. Francis Xavier Church Cemetery.
