Harold Kenneth "Pete" Knable Sr.

Knable, Harold K. “Pete” Sr., 78, of Newton Hamilton, passed away June 21, 2023, at home. Born July 26, 1944, Mount Union, son of the late Lawrence Sr. and Bertha (Beatty) Knable.  Harold is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Nancy (Bickel) Knable; two sons, Brian Knable and wife, Janice; Eric Knable and wife, Michelle; grandchildren, Michaela Adams and husband, Tyler; Lachelle McBride and husband, Ryan; Josh Knable, Brock Knable, Sis Smith and husband, Tyler; Carrisa Knable, and Braylan Knable; great grandchildren, Addisyn, Lowen, Leiden, Declan, Estin, Arianna, Kollins, Bexley, Kody, Maddox, and baby K;  a brother, Robert Knable wife, Doris; and a sister, Barbara Anderson; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his son, Kenny; siblings, Lawrence Knable Jr., Florence Wilson, Charles Knable, Gloria Sunderland, Donald Knable, and Linda Keebler. Harold was a 1963 graduate of Captain Jack high school. He was a life member of the Newton Wayne Fire Company 26 and would always watch the fire company leave to go on a call from his back porch. He loved Hunting, gardening, working in his yard, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Family and friends will be received on Monday June 26, 2023, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at the funeral home with Rev. Ramon Morgan officiant. Interment will follow in Newton Hamilton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Newton Wayne Fire Company 26, P.O. Box 307 Newton Hamilton, PA. 17075 Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
