Obituary

Reeder, Gregory A. Jr., 30, Mount Union, passed away at home on November 22, 2025, after a long battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by grandparents Butch Reeder, Mildred Reeder, Barbara Colyer, Lester Colyer, and stepsister Katlyn Lane. Gregory is survived by his father, Gregory Reeder, Sr.; mother, Carole (Darrell) Lane; grandparents; John and Virginia Jenkins; son, Beckin Reeder; daughters, Leila Reeder, Thea Waters; girlfriend, Paige Berry; sisters, Sheena and husband Allan Searer, Reghan Reeder and boyfriend Georgie Bilger, Cheyanne and husband Dwayne Hampton; Aunt Barbie; step-sister, Heather Lane; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Gregory was known for his strong work ethic and steady hands. He found his calling as a welder, working for Curbs Plus, a trade he took great pride in. Outside of work, Gregory enjoyed the simple, fulfilling pleasures of life. He had a knack for lawn care and took pride in keeping things neat and well-tended, often lending a hand to others just because he could. He cherished spending time with his friends and family, finding joy in being surrounded by the people he loved most. Those who knew Gregory will remember his warm heart, easy smile, and the way he could brighten any day. His time here was far too short, but the impact he made will live on in the memories of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Friends and Family will be received Friday, November 28, 2025, from 4:00 – 8:00 at the Heath-Anderson Funeral Home. Inurnment will be held December 4, 2025, at 11:00 at Haven Rest Memorial Park, Shirleysburg. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E. Shirley Street, Mount Union, “Honored Provider of Veterans Funeral Care TM.” Condolences may be made at AndersonFamilyFuneralHomes.com
