Gregory G. Cassatt, 65, Mount Union, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Lewistown. Born August 10, 1960, Huntingdon, son of the late William L. and Margaret A. (Bodnar) Cassatt. Survived by his son, Gregory Cassatt; brother, Michael Cassatt; sister, Suzanne (Dan) Brown; nephews, Matthew (Erica) Brown, Nicholas (Sage Fallon) Brown, and Michael (Alyssa) Cassatt; niece, Emily (Jonathan) Clemens; and 8 great nieces and great nephews. Gregory was a proud 1978 graduate of Mount Union Area High School where he was an avid athlete, playing football, basketball, and baseball for the Trojans. During his lifetime he enjoyed cooking and watching all sports, especially Notre Dame, the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Most importantly, he cherished spending time with family and friends. Friends and family will be received Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 5-8 p.m at the funeral home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, June 5, 2026 at 11:00, St. Catherines Catholic Church, Mount Union, Rev. Antony Sudherson celebrant.
