Hobble, Gralen Eugene, 70, Shirleysburg, passed away unexpectedly March 27, 2020 at home. Born October 17, 1949, Newton Hamilton, son of the late Joseph and Helen (Kerr) Hobble. Predeceased by brother, Joseph Hobble Jr. Survived by his son, Daniel Hobble and fiancé Taylor Stark; sisters, Helen Harshbarger and husband Dick; Sandra Keith and husband Dean; nephews, Clint and Corey; nieces, Melinda, Melissa and Yolanda. Gralen served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Infantry Badge and Purple Heart Blood Conduct Medal. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Gralen loved to landscape and mow his lawn. He was also fond of gardening and farming. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made directly to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
