Newman, Gloria Jean “Jeanie” (Glunt), 60, Mount Union, passed away at home on November 4, 2021. Born April 24, 1961, Huntingdon, daughter of the late John E. and Lois M. (Gabert) Glunt. Preceded in death by son Douglas Whitsel Jr, and 7 Siblings. Survived by her loving husband Richard Newman; 4 children, Heather A. Freet, Jodi Heary and husband Mike, Margie Price, Ryan Newman, and wife Kelly; 5 sisters, Janice Glunt, Pamela Diven and husband Sam, Paula Ross and husband Wesley, Joann Glunt, Laurie Price and husband, John; 8 grandchildren Rylin, Bailey, Daisha, Derrick, Dylan, Kayla, Torrance, Peirson; 1 great grandchild, Kohl; Nephew, Jason Dimoff, and many other nieces and nephews. Jeanie was a very adventurous person and had many hobbies, including sewing, making crafts, landscaping, and wood crafting. Jeanie also had a great love for animals, and even owned her own pet shop for some time. She enjoyed travelling, going to the beach, camping, attending flea markets and auctions. Jeanie was a busy soul but her favorite thing to do, was spend time with her beloved family and friends. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on November 8, 2021, from 9am to 10:30am at the funeral home, service will begin at 10:30am, Pastor Joe Barrett, Officiant, Interment to follow at Mount Union Cemetery.
