George R. McKnight, 67, Mount Union, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, at the Embassy of Huntingdon Park. Born January 16, 1959, son of the late Robert and Betty (Hobble) McKnight, Sr. In addition to his parents, George is also predeceased by brother, Robert McKnight, Jr. Mr. McKnight is survived by his wife Phyllis (Black) McKnight and was formerly married to Greta Bookwalter, sons, Ashley Worthy, Justin Worthy; daughter, Lisa Hollis and husband “12 o’clock Chuck,” Wendy Worthy and partner Dennis; sister, Kathy McKnight, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. George enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing pool with the Raystown Country pool league. He loves mountain rides and working with his hands. He could often be found “shooting the bull” with whoever would participate, he loved the playful banter. A Memorial Service will be held August 15, 2026, at 12:00 at the Redbud Picnic Shelter at Seven Points. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
