Genevieve Sharbaugh

Sharbaugh, Genevieve, 95, Cresson, died Sept. 13, 2017, at Garvey Manor, Hollidaysburg. Born Sept. 16, 1921, in Loretto, daughter of the late Walter and Viola (Sutton) Rudolph. Preceded in death by husband, Donald; brothers, Francis and Walter; sister, Mary Kay McCartney; and sister-in-law, Bertha Garrison. Survived by children: Connie Magdelinic, and husband, Robert, Hollidaysburg; Thomas Sharbaugh, and wife, Cathy, Mass.; grandsons: Robert Magdelinic Jr., and wife, Becky, Johnstown; and Ronald Magdelinic, Cranberry Twp.; great-granddaughters, Taylor and Olivia Magdelinic; step-great-granddaughters, Christina and Jessica; and special sister-in-law, Louise Rudolph, Baden. Graduate of Mount Aloysius Academy, Cresson, where she was a cheerleader. Retired from Glosser Bros., Johnstown, after 25 years of service. She and Don retired and enjoyed sunny Florida for almost 25 years. Gen liked to play cards, bingo, and she was a champion domino player. Friends received from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Msgr. Stanley Carson. Committal, church cemetery.
