Gary Lee Hower

Hower, Gary Lee, 76, Mount Union, passed away Friday December 8, 2023, at Westminster Woods, Huntingdon. Born October 12, 1947, Mount Union, son of the late Clinton and Lois (Snyder) Hower. Survived by children, Franklin Hower; Angela Belkin and husband, Seth; 2 grandchildren, Matthew Cipriano and Jacob Belkin; brother, Charles Hower; nephew, Shane Hower and wife, Paige; and previous wife, Darlene (Rowe) Morgan and numerous cousins and friends. Preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Jennifer (Joseph) Hower. Gary was a 1965 graduate of Captain Jack High School. He was a member of the Army Reserve and attended the Williamsport Area Community College. Gary retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas/Fluid Containment after many years of service as a fabricator. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors, classic cars and cooking. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday December 13, 2023, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Thursday December 14, 2023, from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. for visitation. A memorial service will be held on Thursday December 14, 2023, at 4 p.m. at the funeral home, Pastor Doug Pilot, officiant.
