Gary Lee Grove

On June 5, 2025, at the age of 79, Gary Lee Grove went home to be with his Lord and Savior. He fought a valiant fight, but his time had come to return home. His loving wife, Vickie (Felmlee) Grove, married April 19, 2001, remains here with their family. He was born on November 20, 1946, in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania to the late Howard and Edna (Edwards) Grove. His surviving family includes his children, Angie McGahan and husband, Bill; LynDee Stevens; Austin Grove and fiancé, Victoria; stepchildren, Doug Rittenhouse and Amie Rittenhouse; and a grand total of 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings, Nancy (and Joe) Wilson, and Howard (Judy) Grove; and stepsiblings, Shonna (Doug) Furman and Tim Grove.

Gary graduated from Huntingdon High School. He enjoyed attending and worshipping at church and had attended Grace Community Church and, most recently, New Life Fellowship Church in Mount Union.

Gary loved Jesus and his coffee served with creamer from McDonald’s while speaking to friends and loved ones. He loved music, fishing, and traveling.

Gary was a business entrepreneur, owning several businesses in his lifetime and working until he was 74 years old.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday June 22, 2025 at 3 pm at New Life Fellowship Church, 14896 Croghan Pike, Mount Union, PA, by the family to share in the fellowship of Gary’s life.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to New Life Fellowship Church in Gary’s name to support their fellowship hall for God’s people to gather and eat. Gary desired for others to be fed physically and spiritually.
