Snair, Fredrick B., 76, Mount Union, formerly of Orbisonia, passed away unexpectedly January 30, 2020 at Penn Highlands. Born September 28, 1943, Altoona, son of the late James and Arlene (Park) Snair. Preceded in death by his siblings, Freeman Snair, Sandy Braho and Linda Gabert. Survived by his loving wife, Rose L. (Neason); daughters, Kim Clemens and husband, Dave, Mount Union; Heather Snair and fiancé, Jason Detwiler, Newton Hamilton; Amber Heidel and husband, Garrett, Mount Union; 12 grandchildren, Shawna, Seth and Ethan Clemens; Julian Weirich, Ava Detwiler, Abram Weirich, Eden Detwiler, Quinn Weirich, Ariana Detwiler, Beau Heidel, Emersyn Cline and Ezra Heidel; siblings, Mary Fluke and Marcy Erwin; and many nieces and nephews. Fred retired from Henkel & McCoy where he was a line foreman. He was currently employed by Mount Union Borough. He enjoyed restoring antique cars and riding his Harley. Fred loved hunting with his nephew Jack Snair and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. Fred was an award-winning dog obedience trainer and showman. Family and friends will be received Tuesday, February 4, 2020 from 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, Freeman Snair, officiant. Interment at St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Shirleysburg. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
