Frank Gerald Lukens, age 68, of Lewistown, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 21, 2026, at his home. Frank was born on October 13, 1957, in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, to the late Gerald D. Lukens Jr. and Marjorie Jean (Love) Lukens. He grew up in Mount Union and treasured his childhood at his parents’ home along the Juniata River, near the country club and golf course. Frank graduated from Mount Union Area High School, Class of 1975. He attended Shippensburg University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a degree in Accounting. Frank spent his entire career at Bleyer Gift Wrap, ultimately serving as plant manager. He dedicated 43 years to the plant, building strong relationships with his colleagues and taking great pride in the success of its daily operations. He supported his staff through a major transition when the company changed ownership and continued to build new professional relationships that were meaningful to him throughout his career. Outside of work, Frank was known for his quick wit, generous spirit, and love of adventure. He was especially drawn to the beauty and wonder of places such as Yellowstone, Niagara Falls, and the Grand Canyon. One of his most memorable adventures was traveling across the country by motorcycle with his dear friend, Andy Biddle. Frank was easygoing, fun-loving, and always ready with a new joke. He enjoyed music, whitewater rafting, puppies, bike riding, kayaking, golfing, and The Far Side comic. Most of all, he loved sharing life and adventures with his wife, Deb. Frank truly lived life to the fullest. Frank is survived by his loving wife, Deborah D. Lukens of Lewistown; his children, Amy Hunnicutt (Mark), Ryan Campbell (Cathy), and Ashley Campbell (Max); his grandchildren, Noah Campbell, Taylor Tate, Kaitlyn Campbell, Joshua Campbell, and Paisley Campbell; his brother, James Lukens (Ellen); his niece, Annaleise Lukens; his nephew, Elijah Lukens; and his aunt, Joan Renaldi, and many close cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie Jean Lukens and Gerald D. Lukens Jr., as well as his grandparents and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Those who knew Frank will remember him for his witty sense of humor, generous heart, devotion to his family, and dedication to his career. His family will forever cherish the love, laughter, adventures, and commitment he shared with them. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. A celebration of Frank’s life will be held in September. Details regarding the date and location will be announced at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Geisinger Lewistown Hospice or the local SPCA.
