Frances B. Hocker

Hocker, Frances B., 79, resided with her granddaughter Chasity Dillman in McConnellsburg, passed away September 6, 2022, at Embassy at Woodland Park, Orbisonia. Born July 1, 1943, Richmond VA., daughter of the late William P. and Marguerite (Harris) Brown. Preceded in death by loving husband, John W. Hocker; and siblings, William S. Brown, Martha King and Mary Suder. Survived by children, Mary McMullen, Carol Pyles and husband, (Ricky); Aaron Hocker and wife, Aurdora; and Edward Hocker; 14 grandchidlren and 39 great grandchildren; brother, David P. Brown and wife, Connie. Frances was a longtime member of the Otelia Mennonite Church and most recently the Mount Union Christian Missionary Alliance. Frances loved spending time with her family—especially her many grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Friday September 9, 2022, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be on Saturday September 10, 2022, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
