Fae R. Jaymes

Jaymes, Fae R., 85, Mount Union, went to be with the Lord on October 21, 2020 at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College as a result of Covid-19. Born September 6, 1935, Mount Union, daughter of the late George B. Kline, Sr. and Olive (McClure) Kline. Preceded in death by loving husband Lawrence E. Jaymes, united in marriage from November 29, 1957 until his passing on February 8, 2002. Also preceded in death by siblings, Lettie, Edna, John, Harry, Mary, Beulah, Betty, and George. Survived by daughter Melanie Kyper and husband, Martin Jr; sister, Grace Stine; sister-in-law, Velma Kline; brother-in-law, Floyd Jaymes; four grandchildren, Megan Curry and husband, Joe; Martin Kyper III and wife, Bethany; Melissa Sneath and husband, Dan; and Michelle Kyper and fiancé, Hector; and five great-grandchildren: Madison, Brady, Ava, Lincoln, Oliver and one on the way. Fae enjoyed crocheting afghans and giving them as gifts. A 1953 graduate of Captain Jack High School, she enjoyed watching Atlanta Braves and Pittsburgh Pirates baseball and PSU football. In her free time, she enjoyed game shows, puzzle books, and spending time with her family and friends. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. A drive-through viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Heath Anderson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow, Pastor Jerry Wise, officiant. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christian Missionary Alliance Church at 217 S. Washington Street, Mount Union, PA 17066.
