Williams, Eva E. (Linn), 96, Mount Union, passed away November 23, 2020 at Penn Highlands Huntingdon. Born February 24, 1924, Mount Union, daughter of the late Harry and Tressa (Rohrer) Linn. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles J. Williams; daughter, Susan Williams; siblings, John Linn, William Linn, Marie Waters, Freda Knepp, Helena Shinefelt and Ruth Bilger. Survived by children, Jon Williams and wife Cathy, New Holland; Sandra Gardner and husband, Joel, Mount Union; Jay Williams and wife, Carol, Shirleysburg; grandchildren, Jon Williams and wife Allison;  Anne Williams Day and husband, Pete; Emily Whitesel and husband, Curt; Jacob Williams and wife, Meghan; Charles Ernest and wife, Kellie; Joe Ernest and wife, Raquel; Carrie Ernest and several great-grandchildren. As a young woman, she worked as a clerk at the GC Murphy store in Mount Union. Eva attended Mount Union Schools until 8th grade when she left to care for her mother who suffered a stroke. She would later return to obtain her GED, which she was immensely proud of. Eva was a faithful servant of God spending many faithful hours in his service. She taught Sunday School, led Bible Studies, played the church piano and organ, and enjoyed singing worship selections in The Ladies Trio. Eva’s favorite scripture was Pslam 121 and the last verse exemplifies her faithful message, “the Lord Shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth and even for evermore.” A graveside service will be held on Tuesday December 1, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the Mount Union Cemetery, Pastor Denise Percival, officiant. A celebration of life will be scheduled later at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Life Fellowship Church of God, 14896 Croghan Pike, Mt Union, PA 17066. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
