Ethel Mae Brown

Brown, Ethel Mae, 84, Mount Union, passed away on November 6, 2025, at Geisinger Lewistown. Born August 13, 1941, Beckley, WV, daughter of the late Alva and Elsie (Mullins) Parsons. In addition, Ethel is preceded in death by her siblings, Betty Stewart, Mary Baggerly, Jack Parsons, Julie Barth, Richard Parsons, Nettie Register, and Molly Cranwell. She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Glen) Brown; stepsons, Fred Teaster, Robert Brown II, William Brown I, Emmit Brown; stepdaughters, Helen Brown, and Robin Brown; grandson, Cole Goss; and granddaughter, Tara (Kai) Goss, and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ethel’s life was defined by her compassion and kindness; she had a heart for caring for others, especially for the people she loved. She also contributed her skills to history, doing soldering work for the first spaceship to land on the moon. At Ethel’s request, there will be no services.
