Pollock, Elsie Minerva (Boozel), 92, Newton Hamilton, passed away July 24, 2020 surrounded by her family. Born May 28, 1928, Newton Hamilton, daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Bilger) Boozel. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth R. Pollock; daughter, Sharon “Bunny” Horne and many loving siblings. Survived by children, Donna Secrest and husband, Darrell; Randy Pollock and wife M. Jennifer; Brenda Pollock; Carol Pollock; 12 grandchildren, Troy, Haley, Courtney, Kirsten, Jordan, Timothy, Brett, Thad, Trey, Trenton, Peyton and Tate; 21 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Freda Worthy, Richard Boozel, and Robert Boozel. Elsie was an avid Jeopardy watcher and loved to socialize with her “Coffee Club” friends at McDonald's. She enjoyed playing and collecting frisbees, doing puzzles, singing, sitting on her porch, and spending time with family and friends. Elsie will be remembered for her kind and pleasant personality. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m., Pastor Brian Myfelt, officiant. Interment to follow at the Newton Hamilton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
