Howsare, Elizabeth M., 82, Duncansville, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. Born July 27, 1943, Lilly, daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Wyneva N. (Rumery) Riley. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her sister, June Dupirack and her brother, Kenneth Riley. She is survived by her son, Les (Monica) Devett; grandchildren, Michael Devett and Lilith Howsare; her sister, Jeanne (Larry) Ball; and her extended family at Country Manor. Elizabeth worked for many years as a nurse’s aide at The Ebensburg Center. In her spare time, Elizabeth took great pride in her faith by teaching religious courses for 23 years. She was an avid reader and was especially fond of reading poetry. Elizabeth was also known to be talented in creating various crafts. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, July 24, 2026, at 11 a.m., St. Catherine of Siena Church, Duncansville, Fr. Jeremy Mohler celebrant. Private interment at St. Brigid Cemetery, Lilly.
