Dorothy Mae Lamberson, 98, of Mount Union, PA departed her earthly home on February 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born November 27, 1927, in Mount Union, daughter of the late William G. Miller and Violet M. (Gross) Miller. Dorothy was preceded in death by brothers Thomas Miller, Kenyon Miller, John E. “Jack” Miller, Wendell A. Miller; she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Dorothy was united in marriage to Michael Roll, he then preceded her in death in 1969, she later married Preston Lamberson, and he preceded her in death in 2020. Dorothy is survived by children Randy (Kris) Roll of Carlisle, Cheryl (Fred Bunn) Roll of Mapleton; Chris (Ron Biemesderfer) Roll of Mount Union, Michael “Chip” (Brenda) Roll of Huntingdon; grandsons, Ed, Josh, Mike, Matt (Tessa M.), Nicholas, Zachary; granddaughters, Amy, Natalie (Keith); great-grandchildren, Bryan, Brandon, Eric, Destiny, Harper, Pearce, Nova, Raya, Kruz, Nikos, Navy; and great-great-grandson, Shane. Dorothy was a proud 1945 graduate of Captain Jack/ Mount Union High School; she was employed at North American Refractories as the office staff manager for many years until her retirement. Dorothy was parishioner of the First Baptist Church in Mount Union and long-time member of the Mount Union Country Club. She enjoyed quilling and playing pinochle with her card club. Dorothy was an avid reader and adored watching the deer and birds in her yard, most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends, especially in Venice, FL, where she spent many cherished years. Friends and Family will be received on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 4:00 – 8:00 in the Heath-Anderson Funeral Home, and Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 until time of service at 11:00, Pastor David Ford, Officiant.
