Dorothy M. Beaver

Beaver, Dorothy M., 91, resident of Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona, went home to be with the Lord December 20, 2018. Born March 23, 1927, Cresson, daughter of the late Clement and Helen (Long) Eckenrod. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, George J. Beaver, Jr., whom she married on February 4, 1948; son, George “Allan”; brother, Donald Eckenrod; and sister-in-law, Christine Eckenrod. Survived by her children, John and wife, Janis, Altoona; Lora Vannozzi and husband, Anthony, Yardville, NJ; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Deanna, Woodstock, OH. At the request of the family all services will be private, Pastor Ben Hoover, officiant. Interment Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
