Morgan, Dorcas L., 94, Mount Union, passed away September 5, 2019 at Westminster Woods, Huntingdon. Born May 31, 1925, Mount Union, daughter of the late Franklin and Frances (Whitney) Pollock. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene G. Morgan, Sr.; two sons, Eugene Jr. and Gerald “Jerry” Morgan; brothers, Franklin, Orthello, Jay, Blain, Earl, and Ralph Pollock; sisters, Lois Hausman, Betty Booth, Ressic Handfield, Hazel Galbraith, and Violet Hazard. Survived by daughter-in-law, Christine Morgan, Mount Union; granddaughters, Heather Redding and Melissa Powers, both of DE; three great-grandchildren, Ridge, Riley and Ryan; and sister, Frances Cramer, Mount Union. She and her husband owned and operated Morgan Hardware and Morgan Plumbing & Heating in Mount Union until their retirement. She loved hunting, fishing, the great outdoors, gardening, having family outings, dogs, and being a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Mount Union Presbyterian Church. Friends and family will be received Monday, September 9 from 6-8 p.m., Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 10 at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Beverly Skopic, officiant. Interment Mount Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Union Presbyterian Church or to the Mount Union Community Library.
