Dixie L. Bingle

Bingle, Dixie L. (Gilbert), 82, of Mount Union, passed away October 21, 2023, at the William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Lewistown.  Born January 16, 1941, Mount Union, daughter of the late Norman S. and Leda Fay (Hooper) Gilbert. Dixie was preceded in death by her husband John A. Bingle, by her son Kenny J. Gilbert, and by three brothers, Robert, Charles, and William Gilbert and by two sisters, Avada Hughes and Nancy Gilbert. Surviving are two daughters, Norma Gail Bobst and Debra Ann Bingle – Collins; 3 grandchildren, Marquee R. Strait husband Lucas, Dennis G. Collins Jr., and Nicole D. Simparosa; 3 great grandchildren, and 3 great -great grandchildren, and by her sister, Sally Harman. Dixie enjoyed sewing, baking, camping, Travelling south with her husband, and spending time with family and friends. Family and friends will be received on Friday October 27, 2023, from 6 p.m. until 8p.m. and on Saturday October 28, 2023 from 10a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service at the funeral home, Joseph Barrett, officiant. Interment will follow in Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
