Devera Jane “Debbie” (Elder) Worthy went to be with her Savior on July 24, 2026. Born April 30, 1947, in Clearfield, PA, she is the daughter of the late Alfred Elder. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Eugene N. Worthy, Sr., whom she was united in marriage on June 26, 1985. Devera was one of 9 siblings. She is survived by her children; Robert (Vicki) Worthy of McConnellsburg, Jerry (Mary) Varner of McVeytown, Delana States of McConnellsburg, Eugene (Beth) Worthy of Rockhill Furnace, Paula Sebus of Carlise; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren. In her free time, she loved her time at home entertaining her family and friends. She loved cooking, baking and decorating her home inside and out. She deeply loved her cats and wouldn’t turn any away. She loved mentoring her children and deeply loved the Lord and reading her bible. She also loved crafting and reading books throughout her life. In honor of Devera a memorial service will be held at a later date the convenience of her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
