Dennis James Boozel

Boozel, Dennis James, 67, McVeytown, passed away January 4, 2023, at Arden Courts Susquehanna, Harrisburg. Born December 22, 1955, Huntingdon at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, son of the late Theodore E. and Myrtle I. (Rinker) Boozel. Survived by his loving wife, Sunday L. (Matthews) Boozel, Two daughters, Dana Mae Myers husband Tony, Danielle I. Hamilton husband Adam, his stepdaughter; Joleen D. Flasher husband Joshua Lindner; 9 grandchildren, Gabrielle, Conner, Rachel, and Luke Flasher, David, James, and Emily Hamilton, Sabastian and Hunter Myers, and a great granddaughter, Elizabeth. Dennis is also survived by his 2 brothers Robert Boozel wife Karen and Theodore W. Boozel wife Barbara. He was preceded in death by his stepson, Dennis Jack Flasher Jr.  Dennis retired in 2017 from the Heavy Construction Carpenters Union Local # 274H. He was a past member of the Allenport Lions Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.  Dennis was the former wrestling coach for Mount Union Elementary and was proud of his Muscle Men squad. Family and Friends will be received on Monday January 9, 2023, from 10a.m. until the noon funeral service at the funeral home, Sam Peck, officiant.
