Gorba, Denise M., 61, Sankertown, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born August 14, 1961, Altoona, daughter of John Slebodnick and Shirley (Owens) Latterner. Preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Kathy McGarry and Diane Swope. Survived by her sons, John Gorba III and wife, Jessica; and Lucas Gorba and wife, Amber; grandchildren, Owen, Ryder, and Raelynn; brother, Joe Slebodnick; step-father, James Latterner; numerous nieces and nephews; and her two beloved cats, Skylar and Sawsha. Denise worked for Cresson Collision Center as their secretary. Denise loved spending time doing yardwork. Most importantly, she cherished spending time with her family. Friends and family will be received Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 5-7 p.m., Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Ave., Cresson. At her request, there will be no service.
