David C. Wilson, Sr.

Wilson Sr., David C., 75, Altoona, passed away January 27, 2022 at UPMC Altoona. Born February 28, 1946, Altoona, son of the late Kessler D. and Ida E. (Swander) Wilson. Preceded in death by his wife, Irean E. Rodgers; and brother, Jackie Wilson. Survived by his daughter, Bobbi G. Wilson; son, David C. Wilson Jr.; grandchildren, Mattrina B. Wilson, Geneeva I. Bennett and Robert L. Bennett; sister, Louella “Peggy” Wilson; brother, Samuel J. Wilson; and his nephew and nieces. David worked in construction and blacktop paving. He enjoyed listening to country music on Froggy 98, hunting, working on cars, drawing and putting together models. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family. At David’s request, there will be no services.
