David L. Roles

Roles, David L., 75, McVeytown, passed away surrounded by his family November 2, 2019 at home. Born August 31, 1944, Saltillo, son of the late Ralph C. and Edith V. (Scott) Roles. Preceded in death by his granddaughter, Aria Roles; brother, Ralph D. “Denny” Roles; infant sister, Sharon Roles; and son-in-law, Dave Shaffer. Survived by his loving wife, Gloria E. (Nead); sons, Phil Roles and wife, Sarah, Alexandria; Adam Roles and companion, Wendy, Kistler; daughter, Anna Garrison and husband, Dustin, NC; 10 grandchildren, William, Amber and Devon Roles, Matthew, Ryan and Levi Shaffer, Colby, Dakota and Macy Garrison; and brother, Thomas Roles and wife, Darlene, McVeytown. David was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and sitting on his porch with a cup of coffee. He will be remembered for being a hard worker and always willing to lend a hand. Friends and family will be received Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 6-7 p.m. and Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
