Horne, Clair D., 87, Mount Union, passed away Friday October 21, 2022, at the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center, Altoona. Born March 18, 1935, Mount Union, son of the late Norman and Erna Horne. Survived by his loving wife Antonia (Cortes) Horne. Mr. Horne honorably served his country in the United States Air Force and retired with the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a member of the F&AM. Mr. Horne was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and served on the board of Blue Juniata VFW Post 5754. He was also a member of the Simpson Hunt American Legion Post 107. Mr. Horne loved to play golf. Most of all he loved to spend time with family and friends. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
