Wheeler Sr., Chris D., 49, Duncansville, died Saturday, December 12, 2020, at the Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring. Born October 31, 1971, Altoona, son of Charles T. “Pete” and Linda (Doyle) Wheeler, Jr. Preceded in death by his brother, Charles “Charlie” Wheeler III; maternal grandmother, Vera C. (Hershel) Doyle; paternal grandparents, Charles “Chal” and Genevieve (Marks) Wheeler, Sr.; uncles, Paul “Hack” Doyle and Robert “Wolf” Doyle; and many dear friends. Survived by his parents of Lilly; fiancée, Joy Imler, Duncansville; daughter, Megan Wheeler, Pittsburgh; son, Chris Wheeler, Jr., Jeanette; sister, Jess (Wheeler) Dupirack and her husband Dave, Cresson; sister-in-law, Carol (Redzensky) Wheeler, Lilly; and nieces, Ashley Murphy and Valerie Cerwensky. Chris was a funny, stubborn, charismatic man loved by many. He loved his family and the great outdoors. Chris was an amazing fisherman, hunter, and loved camping and the outdoors. He would do anything and everything for his family and friends. Chris always stood up for those who couldn’t defend themselves. At the request of the family, service will be private, Deacon Samuel Albarano celebrant. Interment St. Brigid Cemetery, Lilly.
